Introspection

It is a bittersweet recollection of the onset of attraction. Introspection details the mental processes before, during, and after a pseudo-relationship had emerged and subsequently dissolved. She explores her insecurities, various rationales, conflicting ideas and thoughts that she was forced to confront during the ordeal.

The song has three main sections: the introduction and theme, deviation, and final reprise. This construct assists in narrating the story, and conveying how the emotional whirlwind cycles back to baseline behaviour. The "stream of consciousness" style creates a sense of sincerity, and brings reality to the narrative.
